Wait and see if you ever get the TV show "Bush Mechanics" :D
Was about a bunch of Aboriginals who ran a car mechanic's shop in the middle of the desert, since they couldn't get any spare parts it was fkn hilarious to see the sort of stuff they'd come up with.
One I remember clearly was the family on holidays who had all their luggage piled onto the roof of a station wagon, causing the roof to cave in. The Bush Mechanics whipped out a chainsaw, cut the roof off, turned it upside down and tied it behind the car with a bit of rope .. station wagon becomes a convertible and the luggage now has it's own trailer :haha::haha: |
Hahhahahah nah the most ingenious Bush Mechanics episode was when their fuel injected ed up. The engine shut off cos the fuel was left stranded in the tank. So they ripped out the water resevoir for the window wipers, filled it up with petrol then took the tube which used to run into the washers, n stuck it in the fuel intake of the motor..then the funniest part - to drive, the driver would have to keep pulling on the indictor stick to pump fuel into the engine :D:D
Another quality one was when they had a flat tyre, so they filled it up with a load of dirt n grass to keep goin
Genius's at work!! |

Taipans are a bit of a pest sometimes.
Mind you they do keep my Kangaroo population down, which is pissing off my crocs a bit, they're stuck with the leftovers (chickens & tourists) |

That was a classic one. They also carved a new clutch plate from a tree, but the fuel pump takes the cake! |

| With my driving I don't think a clutch plate made of wood would last very long. But I have to get a copy of these episodes somewhere... they sounds absolutly classic. |

| Hopefully SBS will drag em out of retirement in the not too distant future, it's been a few years since they were first aired... |
