Summer 2004 TA Remix Competition

Okay guys, I know it's been a while since the last remix competition, but I've finally picked the track for the next contest and am ready to get this thing started. So that being said, the track for this remix competition is Coast 2 Coast - Home. The rules, as of now, are as follows:

Deadline: Monday, 19th of July, 2004

Collaborations: Up to two people. If you choose to collaborate with someone else, neither of you can submit your own, individual remixes. You either work alone, or with someone else; but not both.

Genre: This is tranceaddict, so please place your remixes somewhere at least in the electronica genre. Trance is preferred, but feel free to span out into the the harder, chiller, deeper, more progressive, or breakbeat versions of it. No rock or jazz or anything please.

Remix Pack: The pack for this is the Coast 2 Coast - Home acapella, in .wav format, and nothing else. If you want to try and extract the original track's effects or samples, feel free to do so. Download vocals here.(thanks to NinjaBot for the link).

Results: I don't want to do a poll to decide who won, since polls usually become victims of unfairness due to popularity of certain artists over others, or the voter's loss of interest after listening to a few tracks out of many more. Thus, just like in the last compeition, I would like to ask for volunteers who would be interested in judging these tracks.

ONCE YOU'RE DONE: You can now upload your completed remix by following the instructions here. Make sure your mp3 is 160kbps encoded.

As mentioned in the other thread in the Production studio, I volunteer to be a judge and not a participant.

Is there a place where we can hear the original song? I don't access to the record...

Look for it on P2P's, or check www.only-djs.com for a low quality version... The track is also featured in Dj Tiesto's compilation In Search of Sunrise 2.
