Hello again,
Sorry to spam your forum guys.
I just wanted to post a thread that was titled more in line with the reality than my previous one before I hop on the plane to come down to sydney in a couple hours.
So, I am going to be in Sydney from early saturday morning through thursday afternoon (May 20) amd was wondering if any Sydney TA's would be interested in meeting up/having a beer/showing me around for a bit/etc. when I am down there.
If not that is cool, I am sure I will find more than enough things to occupy myself :D
I am going to grab a cheap pre-paid mobile once I am there so that people can get a hold of me and will be checkin my mail/ta from either a kiosk at my hotel or at a cyber-cafe somewheres.
If you are interested, send me a pm and I will reply with the above mentioned phone number when I get it etc.

Get a Vodafone pre-paid mobile - don't go for Optus or Telstra. :)
If you want to get a Telstra mobile though, you can come to my store in Wynyard and I'll set you up a deal! :p |

Ya we could....
So I made it......have 6 minutes left on my web kiosk time (off my only 2 dolla coin)
Man that was a long ass flight. But the exit row rocks.
I am going to take a short nap then go wander and find a mobile fon.
Was going to get a vodafone just cause I know telstra is horrid from friend's accounts.
I will post number later...hope to meet up with some of you folks.

Cool.
I wandered around North Sydney a bit earlier...then walked acroiss the bridge and ate lunch in some pub on the Rocks and found a vodafone store.
Since I have free incoming calls and unlimited text messaging, why do I care where I post my number? lol
So according to the back of my SIM card packet my # should be 04 1536 2903 . I am supposed to charge the phone for 8 hours before use, but I will probably charge it for a bit and then stick the sim card in and leave it charge...etc...I am rambling a bit and using up all my 15 minutes.

So a little thread bump because I have just extended my stay.
I now am leaving sunday the 23rd instead of thursday the 20th.

ta ta for now....ta is slow today and eating my 15 minutes quickly.....:whip:
