TOP 6 FINALISTS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED!!!
We had 30 mix submissions, and all of them were fantastic. There wasn't a single mix that wasn't liked.
In terms of mixing and beat matching, everyone was solid, although some people were amazing.
With regards to set structure, a lot of people failed in this regard. But at the same time, we had some nice set progression happening, with a nice journey and flow.
Not many tricks were apparent, except for a couple of people, and even these were pretty tame, which is fair enough considering trance is not a trick-heavy style of mixing.

These six will be battliong it out at the July A Night Of Trance, where we will be judging their live performances during 45 minute sets. There will be several judges on the night and the winner will be decided on that night.
To everyone else who entered the competition. I have to say that you were all very good. In fact the top twelve mixes were all similar quality and it was very hard to pick the top 6, although a couple did really stand out.
