Hey guys,
I remember when you used to be able to go around and meet a hundred people, and everyone would be dancing and going crazy. Now no one dances, and people aren't excited about partying. I think it's gotten so popular and there are so many people at parties that don't care about the scene.
What do i have to do to bring it back? I know that there's so much wonderful potential in our scene. All of my friends agree. There isn't that mutual love there any more. When you introduce yourself to someone they're just not interested. Everyone's all rollin all over the floor, and they don't give a (not that there's anything wrong with rollin, just as long as you let it enhance the party and not replace it).
Do you guys agree with me? Do you still have that feeling at parties that you used to? Do you still meet people and dance with people all night long?
So...If you live in the LA area, help me bring it back. Be friendly, dance and enjoy the music. Remember what it's about.

It's funny when people go out and party the way we do...some think that when you hit a certain age that it's time to grow up.....kind of like when your mom took away your soother( although now many have taken it back) or your too old to play with G.I joes blah blah....I'm 27 and once in while I have a brain fart where I ask myself when is enough going to be enough....then I hear the music and my feet start to move and I close my eyes and smile........when that stops I'll stop......
As long as there is Trance I'll be there

Great observation Ian, me and my friend were just talking about that yesterday and this morning. I think you right it has gotten so huge that there are people there that are not there for the right reasons.
They could care less to meet new people or who is spinning ETC... The scence has played out a little. Im hoping it is just a lull and it will pickup again. I also know that some of the people that I usually party with are starting to feel the affects of it and are not as keen as they use to be. Anyways thats my 2c. I hope I did not sound to @#$& up |

I agree I remember back when Raving and listening to wasnt so mainstream when U needed to know someone who knew someone who knew someone to get to go to a good party in some unkown wherehouse (or at least it seemed.) I am writing this right now while watching the Groove, and I remember when the atmosphere was like that it wasnt that long ago. But now we have tooooo many "pozers" out there in the scene who out to either find EZ drugs or EZ girls, not for the music or for the other people out there who R there for the music. I am 23 I will be 24 and Ive been "raving" for 5 almost 6 years now and it all started becuase a freind seen that I was having a hard time with fitting in at school and had a love for "electronic" music. Since that day I have tried to go and see and dance and have as much fun at every party I go to, I just wish I could find more of them now I only go to 1 every 3 months and thats rough. I long for those days again maybe we should get all the people who feel the same way we do together and have a party like the old days for the music and the love of trance.:)
