Awesome party... once you actually got inside. The Belgium police was out in full force, everyone had to walk past one of their sweet doggies. One hint: Don't ever take stuff to big events in Belgium. I don't know how and why we passed - but we did.
Anyway - intro by Christopher Lawrence. Pretty goeed, very nice set to warm up. Great lights throughout the evening, fireworks, flame throwers, you name it. Next was a (rather short) live set by Mike - and then the king: Armin van Buuren. Armin, as always, was awesome! Nice and smooth at the beginning, getting harder as the set progressed... building up for Richie Hawtin. Who wasn't that good - but I have to admit it's just not my music. Ending with Sven Vaeth, who again is not my music, but actually had a pretty good set.
If anyone taped AIB, please let me know - haven't been able to find the set online yet. |
