its called Ultra in Miami,... during the WMC, and the WMC is probably longer than any thing music related in the world |

There is going to be a Love Parade in San Francisco in September. No one knows who is playing yet, though. They've been trying to get this off the ground for a few year now, but as of a few weeks ago when they announced Love Parade Berlin was cancelled, they still said Love Parade San Francisco was on schedule for September 25.
Godskitchen bought Spundae in February and said one of the things they were going to do in the future in the US was major arena events. They are also going to throw three massive NYE parties this year. Locations unknown yet.
Then, yes, there's Ultra. There's also Coachella which was just this past weekend (tons of bands and DJs)...DJs over the weekend included Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Kraftwerk LIVE, Crystal Method, Adam Freeland, Hybrid, Laurent Garnier, Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, Seb Fontaine, 2many Dj's, Donald Glaude, Mark Farina, Peretz, and DJ Icon.
That's not to mention the main bands like Radiohead, The Cure, The Pixies, and tons of others.
It's really difficult to pull all this off in the US because of how difficult it is to get licensing and how expensive it is to throw this stuff here. But things are looking bright for the future. |
