| Just got home from my first club experience ever with me and 3 friends. It was insane, awesome. Crystal Method @ hob, in chicago. Not my favorite artist but they put on a show I will never in a million years forget! Hyper opened up and sucked sorta, but he got everyone goin, Method came on and OMG :disbelief we went F'IN CRAZY. It was just so awesome that I cant wait to go to another party. We were only 16 so this was a rare oppertunity and I'm soo glade we took it.:haha: So yea awesome party. |

| The Crystal Method is known for putting on an absolutely amazing show. The thing that really distinguishes their show is that they always have a perfectly synchronized light show that goes with it. Whether or not you like the artist is really inconsequential, as the light show could totally make up for it if you don't like them. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it.. i know how ya feel as seeing Crystal Method live was my first real electronic music concert also. Definitely a rockin' group. Cheers! |

Congrats on your first club experience. I saw CM and Hyper for the first time here in Houston a few weeks back. I actually thought Hyper spun some good tracks, and I think he would be more representative of a clubbing experience than CM. Track mixing, non-stop dancing, stopping only to rest -- that's clubbing!! CM was good, but the show was a concert -- play a track, track ends, say a few words, play next track,...walk off stage, encore.
Glad you had fun! The experiences will only get better!! |

| Ha ha thankyou... Actually looking back on it I really have to give Hyper his due. He did his job, getting the crowd warmed up, and getting them in a dancing mood. As for the music he played, I just didnt like it that much is all. But the guy is definatly a talented DJ. CM is more like a concert, but mixing during a live PA set can be hard when you have BPM ranges as diverse as they do. |
