New Final Fantasy XII Scans (Famitsu)

Thought you folks would like to see this...
Note that the focus on the graphics in FFXII are mainly on textures, not polygons...so keep that in mind. Same graphics people behind Vagrant Story for the PSX (which had the same focus and is one of the most artistically beautiful games ever) are on this, and if you've played VS (great game!) you'll see similarities in style...

Final Fantasy XII is not online.
Final Fantasy XI is the only online FF game -- it's a lot like EverQuest, but a bit simpler. |

| Is this a new character or did they change the heroine? In previous pictures there was emphasis on a girl with black hair and a pink mini skirt, but now that seems to have changed? |

| Judging by these screenshots it looks to be graphically impressive...now I hope they infuse some amount of difficulty into the gameplay. |

i remember her, too.
hey, atleast the other girl doesn't look like every other brunette ff heroine. the one in the skirt could almost look like yuna. and i'd rather not see another yuna.
to be honest, these two have been catching my eye the most.

| Ironically enough, it's a different artist than Nomura (artist for 7-10)... though they look extremely similar to his artwork. Oh well, there's a different director for the game, the director of FF Tactics and Vagrant Story, so hopefully this means there'll be some substance to the game and not just flashy cinemas/spells but no gameplay. |
