They are good quality events though... no other large dance music event in Sydney comes close to the exceptional standard of Utopia. They've built up almost 10 years of experience. The marketing hype is somewhat justified. :)
I feel that the recent Transmission was far more overhyped for what we got. I cringe at Transmission marketing. |

Would like to see Sharkey again, but couldn't really care less about anyone else.
Utopia's are always good production wise but their music policy has really only appealed to the rave and hard dance crowds, hence why (I'm pretty sure) their attendances have plateaued since 2000. |
