How to adjust bass in Acid Pro?

Hey everyone:
I'm using Acid Pro 4.0 to make mix cds...nothing fancy just for my own use and for some friends. However, I can't figure out how to adjust the bass on tracks. (like how MixMeister has the nifty bass adjuster). I want to be able to fade the bass out of the outgoing track (keeping the volume up) and fade the bass in on the incoming track (fading the volume up first for the mids and highs and then gradually fading in the bass while the other bass fades out). Otherwise there is just too much bass while both tracks are running and then it's noticeable when the outgoing track fades out. Just want some consistency.
The Assignable FX things are just well beyond me, and otherwise I have no idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! |

I do the exact thing too. I mix my mix albums on acid. I use the volume envelope but i also want to learn how to use the high, mediums, and lows on acid cuz that way i can COMPLETELY have a pro sounding mix. I have the most basic of gemini mixer and it only has volume gains so if i can do this on ACID, I can totally do what i would do live on a better mixer.
So someone please reply with a solution...I would also greatly appreciate it. |

Right click on channel -> Insert/remove envelope -> FX automation -> Band1 Gain handles the low-end as you can see:

The red line is the bass automation and the blue one is for volume. |

| Also using the resonant filter and automating the frequency works great in mixes too. |
