לא אכפת לי אם משהו יאיר את תשומת ליבי לטרד ההוא ואני ימחק תפוסט שלי פה ויעביר אותו לשם...
ועכשיו נזכיר על מה דברנו...
דברנו על סיבות של הרכבים להתחיל פרויקטים חדשים עם שמות שונים
אז הסיבות השונת יכולות להיות בגלל כסף
סגנון מוזיקה שונה טיפה
והרכב שונה של אנשים
אבל שימו לב לסיבה המעניינת הבאה שאף אחד כאן למיטב זכרוני לא הזכיר...
Tranquility Base was started as a side project to enable Above & Beyond to release a remix which was rejected. They’d tried to make a certain record sound a little cooler than it did, and thought they’d succeeded. Unfortunately, the A&R man (who shall remain clueless) disagreed, describing their mix as “crap”. Secretly they were delighted, as a rejected remix is a free track for them, so they changed the riff and put it out under a pseudonym. It remains their favourite production - somehow they made a perfect sounding record - and with the magic words “progressive mix” on the sleeve Razorfish started picking up plays from virtually every major DJ, including Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Dave Pearce, and even Sasha.
Incidentally, as if to prove the idiocy of the A&R man in question, when Above & Beyond sent him the finished version he rang back straight away, screaming “I love this new track you’ve done - don’t sign it to anyone until you talk to me!”
They did neither.
Above & Beyond presents Tranquility Base "Getting Away" is close to completion. Honest. |

וואי נראה לי שמעתי את זה כבר באיזה מקום...יכול להיות באתר שלהם..לא זוכר..
לא שמנה..הפואנטה היא שזה מקרה חריג חבלז...
אני אישית חושב השימוש בשמות שונים הוא כדי לגוון..דמיינו אם היו קיימים רק 50 הרכבים נגיד..וזהו..ככה יש לנו הרבה מעבר לזה..למרות שבפועל זה פרוייקטים שעומדים מאחוריהם אותם אנשים...קחו לדוגמא את מייק יש לו יותר מ30 נראה לי או אפילו 40 שמות שונים ומשונים של הפרוייקטים שלו.האמת הדבר לא מוריד ולא מעלה אלא יש אפילו חסרון (למרות שלא היתי קורא לזה כך) בזה שנגיד משתחרר איזה קטע חדש של משיהו ואתה נהנה מהקטע במשך תקופה לא קצרה ורק אחרי זמן מה אתה מגלה פתאום שזה שם אחר ליוצר שאתה אוהב או ההפך...לפעמים זה מפתיע לפעמים זה מבאס...
