hi guys..
i'm just trying my hand at producing.. and got a midi keyboard from a friend.. its a Yamaha DJX .. anyway.. is there any way i could hook it up to my pc coz my soundcard is only an SBLive and doesnt have MIDI ports.
I could hook it up to my mixer for 'live' performances, but what I really want it for is to hook it up to Reason and use Reason to edit the melodies from the keyboard. Is that possible? |

| I reckon u dont have an USB keyboard.. if only MIDI keyboard, u do need a soundcard that supports MIDI in. |

SBlive does have MIDI support.
What you need is an adaptor for your Game/MIDI Port like one of those |

As rob given the site. Plug the pin connector to ur SB live soundcard which mention game port or joystick port. then the other cable of midi, plug to ur keyboard. :) |
