Score one for the TA's. Vegas owned Baby Anne's ass. It was my first time seeing Baby Anne and I was not impressed at all. It's not that the music wasn't that good because I support most all kinds of music, but her attitude stinks. A genuine smile would help every once in a while. She even ducked down behind the decks so one of the fans couldn't take a pic of her and it wasnt like they were flashing pictures in her eyes all night long or something. She played 45 min into Vegas's time slot, thankfully they gave him the time at the endo to make up for it. Vegas rocked for sure with a set of HARD, UPLIFTING, BANGIN TRANCE. He played some newer and some older stuff. I think he will go far if he keeps up the hard work. It was a one hour set. I would like to see more next time

oh gawd, what can't i say about this nite:p started ok. i can do breaks for a while, so it was ok. baby anne came on around one, and yeah, i totally agree with TDL. she was stuck up. her shirt said off and she meant it. she flipped when ppl tried to take picture:whip: :whip: , even when some chick from her own crew tried to take one for a fan. she also went over her time. i was not pleased, for i was there to hear vegas. he blew it away:eyes: :crazy: :eyes: . his energy up there was contagious and I couldn't stop dancing. mythos manager was trying to close it at 4, but after seeing the place still in going, he gave up. the vibe in the place was different from what i am used to. it had much more of a rave-feel which we don't have up in TO.
all in all the nite was amazing, and the afterhrs party that the vegas crew threw was crazy(thanks for the invite btw - totally made the 13 hr drive worth it:haha: )

Thank you so much for the kind words. I had a blast that night. It really was a dream come true for me. I cant wait to do it all over again on April 23rd. I met some really great people, and from what i can tell, we will be back down there quite a few more times. TDL (DJ Euphoric) Spun a set that was amazing once we got back to the Apple Estate for the after party. One day he will be on that stage with me. He has amazing talent.

this nite was absolutely amazing!! as already stated, baby anne did seem stuck up and like she wasn't enjoying herself.....she made many vegas fans mad when she went over her time slot - she just didn't seem to repsect the fact that there was another dj - who, in my opinion is more talented - scheduled to go on after her....her attitude just doesn't promote what a dj's should - they should be having fun!
Vegas rocked mythos - there were people dancing until he was shut down - we came with a lot of people to support him, but throughout his entire set i'd see new faces coming up to the front with huge smiles on their faces and they'd dance their asses of as well - no one can argue that vegas entertained and delivered great trance on fri nite....it was so nice to see you doing what you love to do : )
there's not too much that can be said about the after party(ies) hehe - vegas spun a great set again - and dj euphoric (TDL) spun a 4 1/2 hour set that i have to argue is the best i've ever heard him spin - the vibe at the party was amazing!
thanks to vegas and dj euphoric for spinning great sets and keeping us dancing - and thanks to everyone else who was there (the canuks) who made that weekend what it was
if any TA's ever have a chance to check out vegas - it's definitely worth it - he won't disappoint!

| Wow!! What a night! Friday night was everything I knew it would be, and then some!! What Baby Anne lacked in personality Vegas definately made up for! It was easy to see he was having a good time. And it would have been hard not to jump up and down with him, since he infects everyone in the room with his energy. I love to see new people turned on to trance and Vegas has a way of turning people on!! I can't wait till next time. For any of you addicts who haven't experienced Vegas, he'll be back at Mythos April 23rd with Micro. Make plans now!! |
