Compatibillity Mode In Windows ME

oDrori
Hey there folks, I've been trying to install a few pre- ME games in my PC and after not managing to run them, I searched for guidance... I found that I need to use compatibillity mode to run them, but isn't this an XP feature? How can I get compatibillity mode in Win ME?

Thanks in advance!

Either drop down to Windows 98 or go up to Windows 2000. Windows ME is too much to bother with to be reliable.

If you're trying to run games and they do not run on ME, I'm guessing they are DOS based and not Win32 right?

If so, this is because they disabled Real Mode DOS support in ME for no good reason.

Have a look at this:

If this does not work, it would be more advisable to try running them in 98 or 95. If they do not work in ME, it's even less likely they'll work in the emulated DOS that 2000/XP has.
