First of all Winnipeg isn't a small city when compared with your city, Calgary, and Regina. Regina is about 1/4 of the size of Winnipeg and Winnipeg is about 4/5ths the size of Calgary. Anyway, enough of that.

I, unfortunately reside in this hole called Winnipeg. I can't wait til next April when I will be done university and will be heading to Calgary where there are real headliners.

As for the Dj found in the wall, his dj name was Phonosys. I never ever heard that there was a possibility of criminal activity. Is your uncle a pig or wtf? Anyway, that's really ed if someone put him there or something.

About a month ago the bouncers at a club called The Beach killed some guy from their power trip. I was there that night and was talking to the deceased's mother-in-law. She was crying and told me that the paramedics were trying to revive him. I did not see the beating but I know that most bouncers are ing piece of power trip fiends.

In the chillout forum once, I heard another Winnipeg horror story. A guy got drunk and got in a fight with the bouncers at some top40 club; he threw the first punch but the bouncers beat him within an inch of his life, they actually ing videotaped this. Then the manager came out and kicked the victim in the head off-camera. The guy probably wouldn't have survived if he'd tried to fight back.

After reading this thread, I can promise that I won't be clubbing in Winnipeg anytime soon...
