Hi guys, just wanted to ask you where would be a good place to buy DJ equipment in Calgary. Right now I am looking for 2 turntables and a mixer. And also I was wondering where do you buy most of your records from the Internet or from the local stores, is there a big variety in the local stores???

| Hey there, well for equipment I would go for Axe or L&M, there not bad, as for records, well Phonics, they never seem to get anything I order, and the stuff I order isn't that hard to get, I would order online, from Chemical or something. |

| For equipment, go see john at AXE. They have the best selection and if they dont have what you want they can order it in. Plus they are like 10-15% cheeper than long & mcquade in most cases. If you want to order online, idjnow.com and etronics.com both ship to canada and even though they are in american dollars, they tend to be cheeper than anything that you can find here. For records, try phonics. They have some stuff but alot of things you will only be able to find in big shops (either online or real) in europe so be prepared to pay some hefty costs for shipping. |

| Hey, I did a lot of research and for my budget I decided on 2 new Numark TT500 turntables. So I just want to ask you whether you know if they are a good brand and weather you have used them before? |
