Hey
Heres a sample of a tune ive been working on lately
feel free to post opinions on it so far.
The percussion sounds abit ed in one of the channels, but that happens cos of the low bitrate (96)

quite like the track dave.
the kick is horrible and reasony
needs an extra higher bassline imo
percussion is fine is a little uninspiring
but the melody is fine and i like the acid.
nice start and could be a nice tune with some polishing off |

I agree about the kick being reasony. Another word to decribe it would be crap. I needs more depth to it, its too "clicky" as it is.
A bit of gerenal eq cleaning to help clear it up a bit too. either that, or the problem I hear is in the amp envelope settings of the lead (in particular it the release), or it because its 96k maybe.
I like the ideas in here though, nice melody and acidy sounds. Change the kick, get it finished and post a 128k or better copy. |
