that is a bit late i think. Most partys during Amsterdam Dance Event end at 5 oclock zo 1:30 is deffinately to late. |

Well just as chicane said: it is about the show. Thatīs why it is called sensation. Id-t wants to deliver you a sensational evening with dancers, lazers, fireworks, acts, djs.
Well is that a bad thing?
No it isnīt if you like being entertained and seeing nice shows. Personally If I was a tourist in Amsterdam the only show I wanted to see is a Peepshow.
What I am trying to say is that Sensation is too much show and too little about the music. For me as an EDM lover it is all about the music. If you are feeling the same way the following festivals are much more interesting for you then sensation.
Dance Valley-Mysteryland:
Both great festivals, great line ups. All kind of styles are played there from techno to armin-trance to breakbeat to prog to Hardhouse
Awakenings:
Great techno festival
Extrema:
club/groove/prog/techno orientated festival with great atmosphere
Futhermore you have: (nice partys but not as good the 4 mentioned above)
Lovefields
Fast Foward dance parade
Defqon
Impulz Outdoor |
Thanks for all the great information. It looks like I'll be going to Dance Valley. The pictures for sensation look really great but I could kind of tell that it doesn't have the right kind of atmosphere.
What time of year is Dance Valley usually held? Do you know anything about how Q-Base went this year?
It sucks being over here in the states and not having any of the great parties you guys have.

| just wondering what events are surrounding Tiesto in Concert 2004? skytrancegirl and i are going on the 30th, and it seems all our other friends are going on the 29th, and then doing armada night on the 30th. what is there to do on the 29th? 31st? 1st? those are the other nights were are looking to party. preferably trance. |
