how can i beat match on traktor dj studio v2?
DJ FireWire
First of all, you need to have two audio outputs. One output for the outgoing track, and the other output for the incoming track. Then you do the same procedures as if you would with a set of a decks and a mixer.

Push the sync button on the track your about to fade into man....you don't need another soundcard.

ive found the sync button dosent work so well, on songs with a clear kick it works alright but stuff like nothing (93 returning mix) it completly s up

hehe, you are absolutely correct....I have tried numerous times with that song, and it s up every time on me as well. even beatmatching manually, it still seems to jump out of sync. Thats why Traktor is good for learning the basics of DJing, and having some fun in the bedroom, but I would never use traktor for a gig, or even in front of my buds for that reason.

yeah i stick blue-tack over the BPM counters, and the bar that shows whether the track is ahead/behind .. i used to cover up the waveforms, but i keep it showing now since its kinda like seein the groove on the vinyl?

i would just use traktor dj studio to try and see what tracks go together well while you're sitting on a plane or you're bored and want to mix while in the car :p. If you're planning on playing out live with this thing it just seems way to complicated to deal with.

I just use it as my "beta tester" for tracks :stongue:
