it's huge (actually, on the tickets i have, it says "America's Biggest Nightclub"... lol, i wouldn't consider it a nightclub at all), but the sound system is . the only reason i really go there is if there is a band coming to town that i really WANT to see (like Dream Theater a few weeks ago), or if i have free tickets to a show. beer/drinks are overpriced, security thinks they're the FBI, and its just not a cool place to see a DJ. i prefer a real club environment, rather than a "concert venue". it's still a ing DAMN shame that PVD never spun @ Pure. that would have been amazing.
but in either case, i'm going to The Rave tonight to see Andrew WK. rock on. :happy2: |

Amen brother..... First time at the Rave for me... most likely my last. The sound system rots ass there.... Drinks were overpriced... but after 3-4 I lost the ability to hold any value with almighty dollar and spent waaaay too much...
I have to admit though... the show rocked my balls.... |

yeah, i usually only go to a show there when i have 2-drink tickets. and unfortunately my friend that had free tix for PVD didn't even realize that he had them til the day after, GRR!
