Hi,
I'm just trying to find my way around cubase after moving from reason.
I've got most things working athough i'm stuck with adding simple fx like delay & reverb to my midi channels.
In the mixer window if i select inserts like i do with my halion channels i don't have the ability to select my delay, reverb & my direct x effects.
Why is this? Is there something differnt i should be doing for my midi channels.
Thanks

| Route the FX to your samples/synths |

Why don't you go back and delete the other two threads you made of this.. (probably was an accident.)

in the mixer, find the output buss for your VSTi's. All of them are to the right of your midi/vst busses.
since each VSTi has a corresponding output audio buss, if you click on the edit button for the correct audio buss, you can add audio plugin effects to your midi. |

You can use 'inserts' too...
press f3 for the mixer, click on the little dropdown thingie on the channlel you want to add fx to (above and left side of the sllider), change it to inserts, then chose the effect you want

oh yeah,, turn off the midi part of the mixer... on very bottom left of mixer. If you were trying on those channels, you wouldnt have seen the effects you wanted. ;)
now you should see only the channels you want to use.
