no sherlock!
I was making the comment that $58 here when you convert it into pounds is not going to get you into that many gigs (seeing as it equates to roughly 20 pounds...)
Do u NOW understand???

I'll probably be there, though my level of excitement is dependent upon a few things.
The big question is how long Tiesto will be playing. I'd prefer that Pete Tong play for only 1 hour (or not play at all) to give more time for Tiesto! Part of the ticket price is paying for a "big" DJ whom I'm not interested in seeing.
Next question is the style of music that will be played. Recent discussion on Tiesto's recent wider variation of style has caused debate and anxiety. Some people like his tech-style, though I'd much prefer the uplifting/melodic trance that he is better known for.
Pete Tong is well-known (maybe moreso as a radio station announcer for UK's Radio 1 than a performing DJ), though whether he is considered to be in the same league as Tiesto, Armin, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk is questionable (I say he is not). I have Ministry Of Sound's The Annual III mixed by Pete Tong and Boy George... I was crazy to have bought it because it's all just house music which I'm not into! What style does Pete Tong play these days and is he any good? House music will disappoint people who are expecting trance all night... and I suspect that there will be house music considering that it will be held on a Saturday night at Home. Wasn't the event meant to be on 30 April? Was Tiesto considered too soft for the Friday night Voodoo crowd?
Who else is performing at the event? This will help in speculating the style of music that will be played, and possibly even the kind of crowd that the event will attract, e.g. Saturday night's house music crowd. Daniel Davoli is the only other performer listed, and I suspect that he won't be playing trance :( |

i have a Pete Tong vs Paul van Dyk set
Pete plays his house music with moaning orgasmic squeels in the background and Paul jumps on and drops some of his anthems, it's pretty wacked :/
I would prefer it if Pete Tong didn't show up, and if he does hopefully he has a 9 - 11 chill out set
and what about the thirst dj comp winner? |
