You can practice all you like but if you aren't a hot producer it doesn't mean squat. |

feelinveryweird: you have superb taste!!! Me and Sid would both love all those tracks you mentioned, wouldnt we sid! Especially if he does the Portishead - Roads into Radiohead - Street Spirit again!!! :):):)
Now as for the up & coming's that played here in Sydney they dont have hepas of residencies - Synik has only robotique as a residency (a night in the brighton-up bar that holds maybe 50-100 people max!), and has played a few guest sets at things like sos and ear candy, there not residencies by any stretch and i think you'll find thats the same with the rest.
If you want to know the reason why most of the djs are house djs its prolly because a house dj can show of their skills better then a trance dj - you cant scratch and loop and do very much with trance (if you want it to still sound good), where as with house you NEED to do that to make it sound good and distinguish yourself from the rest - its that simple..... its a shame but thems the breaks (or house in this case :p)!!! |

Definitely Leigh!
looking at his tracklists from previous Heiniken tours looks like he'll be dropping lots of his own productions and heaps of classics! we shall wait and see though... |
