Club [V] - New Foxtel Digital Channel !

Vigilante
Foxtel Digital starts this week, and one of the new channels will be Club [V].

"No Chat, Just NON STOP MUSIC."

"Now Australia has its own digital dance channel, playing the best new music from the moment it hits the hottest clubs in the country.

From the best hard house to the Phatest R&B and everything that makes you want to bounce in between."

Taken from www.foxtel.com.au

Personally, i think this sounds promising. Club [V] is advertised as
"No Chat, Just NON STOP MUSIC", which i assume means that there will be no VJs or shows, just video after video.

Hopefully, the channel will play some quality tunes, and not just cheese.

What do you guys think?

Is Australia gaining a quality EDM channel, or are we just going to see commercial dance music and RNB??

I'd like to think the former, but my cynicism says the latter :(

mmmm, my guess is that it will be mostly house and rnb. Lets pray to god it isn't, i would prefer to listen to funny arabic music then this.

Who is getting Foxtel Digital?

Unless they're going to record and broadcast entire DJ sets, it's gonna be cheese. Underground tracks don't have video clips, so how are they gonna be able to play them?
Vigilante
Well on the dance show on MTV recently, i have seen:

Underworld - Born Slippy
Tiesto - Traffic
Chemical Brothers - Star guitar
Delerium - Silence (Original Mix)
Basement Jaxx - Good Luck
Benny Bennassi - Satisfaction (worth it just for the girls :eyespop: )
Ferry Corsten - Rock Your Body Rock
Jean Jacques Smoothie - Two People
Roger Sanchez - Another Chance
Paul Van Dyk - We Are Alive
Plummet - Damaged
Prodigy - Voodoo People
Tomcraft - Loneliness

And that's on MTV!!!

It's not all bad man.......

P.S. MTV was at Two Tribes, and they broadcast from the event. That tosser from "Homebuzz" was there. I didn't catch it though because i was out.
