unfortunately not all of us are blessed with brothers, my games with my sister usually went like this:
me: wanna play cricket?
sis: yeah alright but only if im allowed to bat first!
me: ok
*sis is dismissed after a few balls
sis: i don't want to play anymore, i'm going inside
grrr :(
even with those setbacks we managed to have some great games :)
those were the days!
we usually used one of those cricket sets you get at k-mart or whatever until we lost the ball hehe, and many an argument was had over automatic wickie. my sister's trademark shot was the left handed sweep slog over the short leg side fence losing the ball :mad: mine was the long straight drive for 4 :D |

inside the house with a tennis racquet with the cover on ,tennis ball and box recycle bin as wickets ... hours of fun! (till something breaks) |

i hate beach cricket! it eliminates my one formidable weapon... spin bowling. stupid sand, its like specifically made to deter spin bowlers and lessen their impact. perhaps we should put sand on our pitches when murali comes over... perhaps we should dress as women and parade around in the streets... :conf: |
