Id-t Sensation & Trance Energy

Itso
Hi guys, well maybe this thread is not for this part of the forum, but still.

I have been looking at pictures of the past Sensation and Trance Energy parties in Holland and have decided that I have to see them before I die (prefferebly not when I am 30 but in the next 2 years). So I thought, why not ask the local TAs, maybe some of them have made the trip to Holland and can share their experience with me. Flights, accomodations, venue, any tips and info will be greatly appreciated.

Did you like it, why, I bet you've liked it, but still, share it with us!!!

For those of you who have not heard of the Sensation and Trance Energy events, these are two massive events that the Dutch ID&T radio holds every year. The Sensation event has a Sensation White (dress code is WHITE) and Sensation Black (no need to explain here), which are held in the Amsterdam Arena, a HUGE soccer stadium in Amsterdam. Last year the Sensation White drew a MASSIVE 45 000 attendance, you can see one of the official pictures here az well as many more at the official site of ID&T www.id-t.com . Trance Energy ia also as big as Sensation and the only describtion you need is here .

Well that's it for now, hope to hear from the lucky you who have been there.

well man, myself 24k(danny) and three others made the 9 hr. flight to holland for innercity in december.tiesto, pvd, sven vath, stanton warriors on main stage.it was almost overwhelming 8 rooms,50,000 ppl.it truly was the time of my life.if there is one place on the planet you have to experience if you love trance and love to party,it`s holland.as far as hotels go if you have a little money i`d suggest the grand krasnoplosky,a little expensive but well worth it because of the security factor.the streets of amsterdam aren`t for everyone in my opinion,if your the paranoid type don`t go near the red light district,if not, go have a blast.make sure to check out some of the many fine record stores if you do,WOW.i can`t wait to go back.

hehehehehehe
silly kerry
the red light district isnt all that bad
i stayed at a hotel there for 5 days. yes, it's a rather shady area, but it's pretty harmless. all you have here is british tourists, stoned out of their minds, they wouldnt hurt a fly :)
the grand krasnopolsky is indeed a very nice hotel, it's right in the center of the center. there are also cheaper places to stay, all depends on how far from the central area are you willing to stay. i know of a decent hotel that is fairly affordable and very close to the many coffee shops. there's also the place where i stayed which is right above a coffee shop :p

as for the parties, i've attended mysteryland last summer. it was as amazing as innercity was for kerry. 50 thousand people, 13 stages (or something around there), trance, house, techno, hardstyle, it was all there, people having a good time, no fcked up little kids running around, anything and everything you wanted at a party, all for a fairly high price but it was worth it.

just keep in mind if you are coming to amsterdam, you have to be prepared to spend a good amount of money, and a long period of time in transit :|
