Like most team sports football has gone the way of whoever has the most money wins, and because Man U consistantly win they consistantly bring home the $$. But now chealsea are begining to pose a serious threat. |
i wouldnt be too sure of that:
WINNERS
man utd already had money from ferguson being a good manager and earning them respect and gimpy fans worldwide spending their money of david beckham lunch box and flask sets.
arsenal are there only coz of good management from wenger, if they hadnt already won the league a few times and in the champ league (all coz of good management) then they would be a bit more ed for cash.
newcastle thanks to keegen they have become one of the biggest teams in english football, they had hardly any money back in div 2 all those years ago, the managerial sucess from keegen made practically everyoen i nthe north east support them and bring home the bacon to spend on shearer etc.
liverpool been a good team since before money was in football to make it matter.
charlton pretty self explanitory, charlton are doing so well now and with what budget. curbishley's good managment.
LOSERS:
cheslea were already a top 4 team and the years before top 3 team anyway!!! they are jsut living up to expectations not challenging like arsenal and man utd.
fulham tried to buy sucess, and hung aroudn mid table, until fayed decided to pull the plug on the cash flow. they are now doing better since theyve had much less money to spend.
blackburn thrown countless millions to try and achieve the glories of a decade ago but have been in and out of div 1.
man city spent even more than blackburn and still mid table, below the likes of birmingham and bolton who have nowhere near as much.
middlesbrough have stuck it out since promotion quite a few years ago, but have thrown lots of money into a club who is always full of underperformers, ending up less than mid table usually.
leeds need i say more? |

although i think hes a good manager, hes a right 2-faced moaning twat. as soon as an arsenal player gets fouled, or sent off, he goes mad saying in the papers "this isnt right, the refs , the world hates us etc..." but as soon as an arsenal player does a 2-footed lunge or something, he said "er i didnt see the incident..."
 |
