"New faster delivery times: We have now improved our delivery times - all orders received by 5pm are now despatched the same day"

I used to prefer Chemical Records, but now I prefer Juno because of a few reasons. Firstly, the prices seem to have increased a lot more on Chemical than they used to be. Yes I know they have added a tax value alongside the non-tax value, but I am still refering to this non-tax value.

Secondly, I emailed them about finding out more information on a vinyl because there was no sample on the site, and no information about the b-side. Instead of getting a reply with the answer, or getting a reply saying they don't know, or don't have the means to check such a query, my email never got replied to. I find that extremely rude; especially after spending literally thousands in that store. So over I go to juno.co.uk to ask the same question. Got an answer back the same day, cleared up all queries I had so I purchased the vinyl. Chemical records loss.

Chemical does hav some advantages though. The £2.50 flat rate for shipping is very handy for large orders (although it's quite annoying that it used to be £2.00 and now has gone up a bit.) Juno is still a lot better though for smaller orders with the £1.75 + 50p for each extra vinyl. Plus the fact that Juno has cheaper prices for their vinyls usually means that even with larger orders, Juno is still cheaper overall including p&p.

So pretty much everyway you look at it, Juno is better than Chemical-Records which is a bit of a shame really because I used to feel it was the other way around..

Okay, 'rant' over. heh.

aye but you still pay the tax value, they used to dupe loadsa people into thinking there records were the same price if not a few pence cheaper than juno by adding the tax on at the last stage of ur order, but infact most of their records were 1 quid expensive or even more. thats why i always bought from juno cept when juno wudnt get a tune i wanted for ages and chem had it. coz the extra 70p you pay per record delivery u save about 50p over chem anyway

PS: haha @ ur sig!

At least they are trying to justify the ridiculous shipping prices they charge. If Juno had more of a selection I'd shop there probably, but they seem to invest in large amount of vocal euro-cheese!
