you gotta love simon on that ...he's not ing around trying to be sweet...if you suck he's gonna tell you...that's the way it should be...of course i think now its gotten to the point that he tries a little hard to crap on people, but eh...i don't really watch just a clip or to here and there...

After a while you must start resenting those people that come in and waste a minute of your time. :p

I must admit i've had a good laugh at many of the early round losers and didnt feel bad for them cause they wanted the 5 sec of fame at any cost, but I'm starting to see another side to it. The show in some respects is no better than Jerry Springer at exploiting ppl.

I was reading an article that said Paula Abdul recruited that Hong Kong kid sing "She Bangs" from last season try outs and had him flown in. That goes to show how contrived the show is to get the laughs. I think that's why Paula left the show for a few weeks because she couldnt handle her role in making fun of these contestents. Maybe because she the only one with a soul and as an performing artist, knows how it feels to put yourself out there for an audition.

I'm already getting annoyed with Simon and his clone, repeating over and over the same glib lines 'houston we have a problem' or 'hollywood babe'.

If it's as bad as Australian Idol, then it isn't worth watchinh.
