| Nicky Butt to Tottenham (hopefully). Heard we did make a bid for Robinson and Milner which got rejected, sure we can poach them if we offer Leeds enough money though. |

| The problem is that nobody wants to sell anybody unless they have a replacement lined up, so thats why there has been hardly any transfers. The same thing was happenning in the summer untill Abramovich turned up. |

| We've had Saha to United and we might have Parker to Chelski if Charlton cave in, apart from that - big name transfers aren't happening. |

| Big Sam's looking for players, esp a full back with Michael Gray being mentioned as likely to cover for Gardner's injury, but he's just as busy working on contracts & Bosmans for the summer, with Prso of Monaco & Kapo of Auxerre apparently being offered deals |

now that the window has closed these were the significant signings made over the past month :-
1) Louis Saha from Fulham to Man Utd - £12.5 million
2) Jose Antonio Reyes from Sevilla to Arsenal - £17 million
3) Scott Parker from Charlton to Chelsea - £10 million
4) Jermain Defoe - West Ham to Tottenham - £6 million + Bobby Zamora
5) Nolberto Solano - Newcastle to Aston Villa - £1.5 million
6) Carl Cort - Newcastle to Wolves - £ 2 million
7) Brian Mcbride - Columbus Crew to Fulham - undisclosed but beleived to be around - £ 600,000 |
