Bush is trying to make it ok to break the law. He has in the past, and wants to again, grant amnesty to illegal aliens in the US. Not only does this reward law breakers, it will steal money from every US tax payer out there.

Screw Bush.

The Patriot Act has already done a good enough job of that.

If you take any sort of real look at the facts, it's not too hard to see what we're dealing with here.

Anything specific to say or do you just want to make a big fuss and do the anti bush liberal dance?

Actually, most of the conservatives are against this too. I'm actually quite conservative, but I dislike Bush because of this issue.

Very true, they're are many conservatives who believe that Bush is derailing the the conservative agenda into this "neo-conservative" agenda. Not to say that all conservatives are against Bush, but is a noticable movement.

Dude, where did you get that he was gonna make an amnesty to all illegal inmigrants??!?! .. Link would be helpfull. He clearly said that he was against a general amnesty, so really I have no idea what you are talking about. About the taxpayers money.. I dont really see how it will affect it. If you know how the INS works, you'll see that the US will benefit from this .. an amnesty means millions of dollars to INS, security, and even more to US economy, since this inmigrants will finally pay taxes.. instead of not paying them. But to the subject, he is not making a general amnesty.. mmm.

He's doing it so that relatives of these aliens who are citizens of of the U.S. already will vote this year for him.

If were talking about Bushes amnesty type program we all know that if clinton or any other democrat did it most people here would be all for it, but since bush is doing it its obviously just to get him more votes =/

Actually even if that is the reason Its still not a bad plan in my opinion. Getting over here illegally isn't all that difficult and once there here there not likely to get deported. At least if there citizens they'll pay taxes.

If a democrat did it, it would still be to get more votes. But perhaps there would also be an element of human rights involved.;)

I'm convinced that Bush cares nothing about human rights or the people he represents based on his Administration's countless abuses.

The only difference is that conservatives tend to hate illegal immigration, so Bush probably lost more votes than he gained by pissing off his core conservative voters even more than he already has.

Actually, I'm not for illegal immigration either. We really need to reform the process to make it better, and Bush's plan is a step in the right direction.

- I see where you are headed, its very hypocrit from his part, but he and the administration know and noticed that there has to be something done. Although I find Bush's plan a very critical and doubtfull among inmigrants ( whom by the way critic the plan ), there are a couple of other plans sitting on the senate waiting to be seen.
