VIVID SESSIONS is proud to present one of The World's most versatile DJ's . Over the past year, Lee Burridge has quickly made his mark on Vancouver. Heavily influenced by the tech-house sound coming from our city, but also by the varied sounds of his friends: Sasha, Craig Richards & Hybrid. January 2003 saw Lee headline a sold-out mystery event and display yet again why he was ranked #10 DJ in the World last year.

Lee Burridge

One of the few British DJs to have survived the fall of trance with his reputation intact, Lee Burridge recognizes the importance of changing with the times. With that in mind, the spinner's new double-disc compilation, 24:7, finds him charting an eclectic course across a number of styles, from minimal techno to dubwise house. With tunes from artists as diverse as Ricardo Villalobos, Terry Francis, and Steve Bug residing in his crates, there's no telling what Burridge will do when he plays at Sonar on Friday (January 30). This much seems certain: you'll walk away from this night a sweaty mess.

i dunno what it means, but it came from the Straight...usually, their writing is pretty good but sometimes they'll just say something that sounds catchy such as "the fall of trance" without necessarily knowing what they're talking about.

especially when I find it hard to equate Lee Burridge to Trance.

Anyways, saw him a few years back, and im itching to see him again.

i decided to skip this one, sorry...i'm sure it was awesome. :)

i wasn't planning to do any partying last night but at the last minute i decided to check out that Organix psytrance friday at Club 23 West...a schoolmate of mine gave me 4 free passes to it so i was like, what the hell, might as well check it out. it was ok, not a bad club, but i think i should have gone to Burridge instead...the DJs at Club 23 dropped some good tunes but their mixing was ASS. most of the transitions either had ed up phrasing or were trainwrecks. jesus :whip:

anyway i hope anyone who went to this had fun.
