I quite enjoyed the movie too - it's not the genre-defining club movie like Human Traffic is, but it was an enjoyable two hours.
I'll get the minor gripes out of the way early: gayest club name ever (TranceZENdance :whip:), and the negative drug slant (IF YOU TAKE DRUGS YOU WILL DIE!!). Aside from that, it was pretty good.
Funny how the tune-spotting gene just doesn't turn off, I picked six tracks in the movie
For the record:
Paul van Dyk - Nothing But You
Dallas Superstars - Helium
Underworld - 100 Days Off
Lamb - Gorecki
Aurora or Duran Duran - Ordinary World
Overall the soundtrack was damn good, also some Moby, Ferry Corsten, Love Tattoo and CJ Bolland in there....
Cheers to all the TAs who came along :D |

from the website:
| quote: | Lightstream films and Hardware Corporation joined forces to create a stunning final scene for the film, transforming a local sports stadium into a massive dance event.
Over six thousand people packed the arena as Dan Spielman (Tommy), took the stage, dwarfed by a 60 foot projection screen. Dan, who had learnt to spin records and play violin for the role, said: "The crow was like a giant force ready to be harnessed, all you had to do was raise your hands and the whole place would go off."
'Go off' they did and for the crew of 'One Perfect Day' the title started to make sense. Filming complete, Dan passed the decks over to Paul van Dyk who kep the crowd rocking until the early hours. |
Still don't recall seeing PVD during that scene though...
btw, check out "events" under the "behind the scenes" section for some videos filmed during the events for the movie. You can see PVD there :D |
