Yes, Dumonde rocked. THey played an entirely different set from IMF. And I enjoyed it. I admit, they ing rocked the place at IMF, and this time they were alittle short on the emotional selections of trakcs, but still played awesome. The only 2 Dumonde tracks that I could recognize were Marc Aureal - Running and Dumonde - Human, and what the remix was that they played of human. It was awesome. Had this really heavy heavy guitar sound instead of the acoustic sound. Awesome remix!
Not many people there, probably wasted from New Years, but it was nice and intimate. Got tons of time to meet some new people and even go tto chat with JamX for a while. It's amazing the effort these guys put into their tracks. I have the most respect for them and hope they come back soon.
P.S. He told me they are working on something new right now called "Cold". atleast that's what I think it will be called
I do however have to point out that I was very pissed off before I got in there. I was told that I was going to be on the guestlist for free cover plus 1, but I got ed over. I waited over an hour and a half for the Solid Corp. promotions guy to show up and he still never did! My friend and I both ended up paying to get into the club. I know I shouldn't bitch about it, seeing how I would pay twice as much for Dumonde, but we all came down from Whistler to this party, and find out that this so called guy named "Raymond" was full of the entire time. So a word to the wise. If this guy tells you he'll hook you up, he's full of ! |
