Originally a trained classical percussionist, Sharaz found himself as a DJ merely by accident. Looking for an interesting hobby to keep him busy, he took up the career of producing in 1997. Five years later he's found himself traveling nearly 12,000 miles a month as a professional breaks producer and DJ. Peppering his live appearances with live percussion makes SHARAZ unique amongst his peers. His remixes are numerous, including projects for Tommy Boy, Afrika Bambaataa, Diana Fox, Echosphere, Marradonna, Robin Fox, Bass Mechanic, and many others. Most recently his remix of Fierce Ruling Diva's "You Gotta Believe" hit #1 on Billboard Magazine's Dance Singles chart. For those who like it hard, this is your man. At a young age he began writing music that attracted record labels almost immediately. Since that time he has had numerous releases on the Nukleuz label which all did very well, some even making it into the national dance charts. This musical phenomenon has played with some of the biggest DJ's in the world, including Paul Oakenfold & BT. He has rocked crowds of up to 40,000 people in the some of the most stunning venues the world has ever seen (Kinetic, The Manor, Rhythm Station, Hard Rock in Liverpool, The Eclypse and Pandemonium (there are too many to mention). With 10 years of experience in his record case, Plaza of Nations we are priveledged to be graced by this Hard House Veteran.

A veteran of the Toronto party scene, DJ Slide was playing the infamous Syrous mega-raves at the young age of 15. Nearly a decade later he has played around the world from Los Angeles to London, England and runs record labels Vinyl Syndicate, Orion & Future Sound Recordings pumping out homegrown drum & bass with long-time associate DJ Slip. Expect some incredible music as in his own words "drum & bass has never been better!
