| I used to play this mod when it first came out few years ago. I played it in its first stages, then gave up on it. Two weeks ago, I was bored and started playing HL again and I ended up downloading DoD. And damn! So much improvement! The creators of CS bought it and improved it so much. I think its even better than CS. However, it does kinda remind me of Return To Castle Wolfenstein. Seems that DoD was kinda influenced by it. It doesnt bother me tho, however, I do get poor frame rate in DoD. I only have GeForce 2, since i'm not a hardcore gamer and I hardly ever play, but i do wish it was like CS so I could have that constants 60 fps. Other than that, cool mod imo. Try it out if you own HL. |

The original DoD versions were the best, damn it was a great game to play - then the creators got all technical and strategic and took away all the fun.
But from what ive heard the latest version is fairly good, but havent tried it yet - still playing enemy territory. |

i tried to enjoy it but i got lost on all the maps. the only time i like to play it is during Caen2, or whatever that map is called. small and sweet :)
