I couldn't beleive my ears!
I used to be a huge fan of the B96 mixmasters in the mid-late90's. Bobby D, DJ Markski's eurostyle mixes, Too Kool Chris, and Mixin' Marc. The mix shows were 25 minute sets of about 12-15 songs in 1-2 minute segments.
Anyway, after I got into Trance, I lost track of the mixers. After quite sometime, I tuned in this weekend and found out most of my former favorite DJ's have since left the station. Anyway, after almost 2 hours of hip-hop mixers I heard this guy I think "Billy the Kid". He actually played the Armin remix of ATRC toward the end of the set. Good to hear at least a minimal amount of trance on U.S. radio, since most U.S. dance radio stations blow hard. |
