.montecarlo.
i don't know of clubs in whistler that play electronic music... mostly top 40/hip hop/rock, at least that's how it was last time i went to clubs up there. you'll probably want to come down to vancouver to hear some good EDM. just keep an eye on this section, there are clubnights posted all the time. some good with regular nights are sonar and viva.

greets,

and have fun in whistler! it's an awsome place...

Ummm, piece of advice... Whistler is for electronic music man. period. The people are dirty and grungy as well. Lots of jobs though, so that won't be a problem, BUT have fun finding residence in Whistler, and its VERY expensive there as well. So I hope your coming with lots of cash.

i main go there to snowboard and learn english (oh you assumed this already :) so i'm not very disappointed there are not good clubs.

Yo dude, when you get to Whistler, send me an email. I live up here and have been here for the past year. Bad Boy Bill was just here on Saturday night, and man, he rocked the ing house!!! It's pretty hard to find good music up here though, you really have to find that sort of thing out by word of mouth. The best clubs to go to if you just want to have a good time are Tommy Africa's, and Garfinkles. You might possibly like The Savage Beagle, but it's mostly hip hop there.

Keep your ears peeled for January though. My roommate and I are going to be throwing a Trance night at Tommy Africa's on the 20th. No one plays trance up here, mostly d'n'b and hip hop, but I work in staff housing and and the general consensus up here is that people want to hear more electronic music. I played for 1300 people a couple of weeks ago and it went off!!! That's what's inspired us to do a club night soon.

Also, wednesdays they have some guy from Ministry of Sound DJing at Tommy Africa's. I think his nam eis DJ Garry or somethng cheesy like that. BUt I think he's playing the best beat right now.

If you're also trying to find accom. don't worry. I know of some places that need to be filled if you're hurting.
