So, I was fairly convinced that i needed SSX3 (and i think i still do)...but apparently the new 1080 shipped today. Ive found no reviews yet - from what it looks like its more of the same as the original. Which, compared to SSX *could* be a bad thing, but the original was the best snowboarding game ive played that was somewhat realistic.
the vids look pretty good, tho the nintendo music sucks as usual, and the animation of the riders could be a bit smoother - still, anyone heard anything?

I think I saw a commercial for it, looks decent. It probably has more of a "real" feel to it than SSX but I'm sure SSX is still more fun.
I still remember the old 1080 for the N64, good game for it's time. |

It got bad reviews vs. SSX3, my latest EGM reviewed it. 7.5/7.0/5.5
SSX3 got straight 9's across the board.
As for realism, 1080 wins...but that doesn't increase the fun factor or playability any. |
