i hardly ever play video games anymore mainly cuz the newest stuff i have is my sega saturn and playstation 1.
well this past weekend my fiance (knowing how bad i've been wanting to get in on the new video games) went out and bought my Christmas present and gave it to me early, she got me:
an X-Box w/ 2 controllers and it came with tetris and star wars, plus she bought me:
project gotham racing 2 (i had to sell my Saleen Mustang a month ago, this is almost as good :D ), halo (i love first person shooters), and quantum redshift (knowing i'm a big fan of the old wipeout games)
she's great!

That's kick ass, to me an Xbox is worth the price alone just for Halo seeing as how I don't use my pc to game. Unfortunately I had to sell mine earlier for cash but I'm hoping to pick another one up soon. I want a gf who buys me games though.
How's Project Gotham 2? I've heard it wasn't that good which sucks, but I want to play it just to drive the Enzo:eyes: :eyespop: |

Oh yeah, was your Saleen the S351, if I remember right that's the supercharged one???
That's like selling a child! I had to sell my Talon which is waaay slower than those but still, it sucks! Especially when you invest so much time into a car... |

soon she will come and she want's something really expencive.. and you say nooooo... but then she somehow make's you think about the x-box..... and you like MUST buy the thing for her..

Not a fan of Xbox myself but that's still pretty cool... I'm more interested in hearing about your Saturn collection, though! I've spent more money on Saturn games than I have on PS2 games, lately! |

my saleen wasn't an s351 (not that lucky) but i did max out a $15k credit card on modding it, i did that about 2 1/2 years ago and i'll be paying on it for the next 2 1/2 years. it wasnt supercharged either, it had a 150 shot of nitrous, what i consider a poor man's supercharger. the bills were just getting too outta hand so i had to let her go.
i've only been able to play PG2 a little here and there, well actually i've played it alot but there's so much to it that i've barely even scratched the surface, games are alot more complex than they used to be. one thing i can definately tell you is that i've had alot of fun racing with the Cobra but i'm sure there's tons of other cars in the game that i havent even come across yet. i've been doing alot of rotating of the new games i have, they're all fun and i'm so overwhelmed with having so many new games after going so long playing oldass games that i dont know what to do with myself. personally i like the game alot but i never got to play the first one so i cant compare it. i wanted to play the first one real bad ever since it came out but never got the chance to. i'm glad PG2 didnt discriminate against domestics like gran turismo 2 did (my last newest racing game), they really pussified all the domestics and gave alot of them lower horsepower ratings than they really have. they didnt tap into alot of their potential either when you mod them like they did with the imports that could get like 900 hp while domestics could only get up to 600 hp. :whip:
as for my saturn collection, i think i have about 50+ games for it, some of those games are just fun as hell, classics never die in my opinion. |
