Delta Goodrem Must Be Stopped

Has anyone heard her remake of John Lennon's Xmas song yet? There should be laws against this sort of thing: possibly the worst cover version of any song ever. The words "cat" and "lawnmower" come to mind at the moment.
If you're going sing a piece of music written by this century's greatest musician, you might want to try at least getting the notes right before you release it. I'm trying not to be too critical because I know a lot of people like her, but man. I think even her fans will agree that this is a cynical, badly produced song released purely to make a few extra bucks from an unsuspecting public just before Christmas.
Why, Delta, why? :( |

That is just plain un-Australian!!! How can you criticise Delta Goodrem?? she is unbelievably talented, and she is also very beautiful.
Just one thing: i think her cover is good. I work at Dan Murphys Hurstville bottle shop in Sydney and they have christmas songs on repeat ALL DAY. I heard Delta's song all the time, along with many "classic" christmas songs, and i can tell you now that it is good.
I have been listening to Christmas Carols/Songs about 35 HOURS PER WEEK from so its not like i am just saying this without any experience. It drives me ing crazy listening to most of those songs, but I always enjoy Delta's song.
By the way, I saw her when she appeared at Westfield Miranda Shopping Centre(Sydney) in March and she played three songs live....also signed autographs for a bout 1 1/2 hours.
