how do i find out if my motherboard can take a 120 hd in it ???

nore: i dont want to take the cover off as that'd take too much effort :)

how old is your mobo?

on one of my old computers thats about 5 years old with a crappy mobo can take a 120gb no problem.

you need to check your motherboard documentation to see if it supports ATA133, ATA100 drives, some do - some dont. Sometimes the BIOS will only read the 130GB drive as say, 8GB or whatnot.

Depends on the board, depends on the hardrive.
It will be in the documentation.
