Well those that take the latter approach to life, probably take the same point to debate.
The secret to life is living it, debate is a part of living life. I debate here to practice my debating skills, to learn from other peoples views, to feel happy (and superior) at times, and to spend away many hours from my real responsibilities like homework.
So is the debate here completely meaningless, yes. But then again all debate is meaningless it is the perspective we look at it through. So what, we change the US president, your nader gets into control.. so what, will that change my life? Probably not, will it change yours, unlikely. Don't take such a cynical view.

but anyways, ya thanks for the support floster... it's nice to see some israelis in there everyonce in a while. and i must say your english has improved a lot since i first saw you post. :)

תבין מה שמפריע לי זה לא הויכוחים או חופש הדיבור שם להפך,מה שמפריע לי שם זה התדירות של השקרים מה שהופך את המצב שם להסתה.
ולא ממש ניראה לי שמישהו משנה את הדעות של מישהו שם,כבר איזה חצי שנה אני שם והויכוחים שם הם אותו דבר עם אותם טיעונים ואפילו בן אדם חכם כמו אוקורידר שנימצא שם כבר איזה מאה שנה אמר שהוא הפסיק לנסות להוכיח עמדות כי כול אחד מקשיב רק לעצמו

אבל עזוב הנקודה המרכזית היא שיש סיבה לזה שאתה אף פעם לא שומע את ארמין או אוקנפולד מדברים על "האכזריות של צבא ישראל" וזה פשוט בגלל שזה לא שייך לטראנס. |
