big outdoor tranceevents in sweden, europe and the world

Hey, I want a big list on those, would have been cool to see how many there actually were (I know I won't see all of them posted, but...)! Please post how many visitors there are, and where it is of course.
I live in Norway, and the only big trancething we have here except indoor Hyperstate is SummerRave in Oslo. Last year, 7.000 (a lot for Norwegians!) people took part in the partial moving event.

Then there's the huge LoveParade Berlin (going there!) 1.5 million people, Leeds Love Parade UK (how many?) and what else... I don't know many of them!

Also, I would like to know about those in Sweden, 'cause it's not a long trip from Norway!
Dance Valley Festival Saturday 4th August 2001:

"Dance Valley is the biggest open air Dance festival in the Benelux, located in the Spaarnwoude recreational area.
The area has a rolling nearly non-Dutch geography, together with two huge concrete monuments, a climbing wall and the double disc, creating a surreal atmosphere, which is difficult to forget. The setting provides a amphitheater around a lineup of (inter)national top artist and the enthusiastic audience. Combined with perfect organization this brings a unique atmosphere which puts Dance Valley firmly on the European festival agenda."

as it says, biggest outdoor party in the netherlands+belgium+luxembourg of the year ... not as gigantic as the loveparade, but it IS enormous :) and with the best of the best dj's ofcourse.
Well we don't have all that many ppl here in Aus - especially in Adelaide, but still managed around 5000 at Enchanted Forest 2000 this year. I didn't make it this time, but I think there were 3 stages: Trance, drum and bass and house

For New Years - we had Earthcore. Again not specifically Trance, but primarily hard/psy/goa trance and plenty of techno and drum and bass too. That was a 5 day festical in the middle of nowhere - in a national park 3 hours east of Melbourne. Very hot (starting around 27C on the first day up to 37C - around 99F) not too comfy when camping either! But there was a wicked river with water coming down from the mountains that was soooo clean - the water was so clear you could drink it! The swimming eased the heat.

Check it out at:

no more events planned for this summer, but it will be held again next New Years - I'll be there again, that's for sure!!
Yes Dance Valley WAS a great experience, especially for me, because it was the first *big* event I visisted...DV

carl cox...50000 ppl...outside...MC Marksman...with the laser show...It WAS intense :D
Where Im at now they had the Detroit Electronic Music Festival last summer which drew some massive crowds. Several hundred thou plus Id say, although I wasnt here then. Back in Colorado they had the Rave on the Rocks at Red Rocks Ampetheatre in Morrison CO. I went, it was completely amazing. Like floating on a big rock spaceship over the city with 7,000 party people, the worlds most powerful lasers, Static Revenger, Aphrodite, BT, Hernan Cantaneo, and Oakey. God that was the coolest thing ever. I hope it happens again.
