Inflateable chillout rooms!
This wacky idea is something you might have dreamt about but never thought you’d actually see, except in Barbarella or some documentary about John Lennon. Wonderfully sensuous and kinkily plastic, the Urban Pod Chillout Room is a grown up mini fantasy version of the bouncy castle that you can inflate right in your own home or garden.
The Pod is an oasis of peace in a fraught world, a retreat where you can crawl away inside to escape from the harsh cruel realities of life and access your inner being. You can assume the lotus position, the foetal position, the munching position or any other position that takes your fancy. In the pod you are free to express yourself in any way you choose, for however long.
Having calmly and slowly resuscitated yourself from the cares of the day, you can emerge from your cocoon feeling refreshed and relaxed, a bit like that thing in the film “Alien” but without quite so much mucus.
So if you want to tune in, chill out, hang loose, lay it on or wind it up, have a sleep-in a love-in or a think-in man’s crumpet, this temple of pure pleasure might be your bag.
The Pod consists of 31 inflatable cushions that surround you with soft secure white oneness, and comes in two sizes - small (1500mm diameter) and large (2500 mm). Please check the dimensions of the space where you want to inflate the pod before ordering, or you may find yourself, like Alice in Wonderland, with a very tight fit.
