The best soccer goal of all time??

1. Ronaldo's goal against Compostela (playing with Barcelona in 96), incredible how he takes the ball and goes 50 metres running with the ball "humiliating" his rivals and scoring an epic goal.

2. Maradona's goal agains Inglaterra...... MAGIC!

3. Roberto Carlos free kick against France. (La Bomba Inteligente!). The one you comment in which he shot from nearly the corner was against Tenerife.

4. Zidane's goal against Leverkussen in the Champions League final of 2002.

Maradona's individual run against Vs England 1986
Maradona's hand of God Goal vs England 1986
Michael Owen Vs Argentina 1986

Terry McDermott for Liverpool Vs Tottenham 1978, the seventh goal was all one touch passing from defence to attack, absolutely brilliant, it defined Liverpool's style of pass and move.

Borghetti for Mexico Vs Italy 2002, patient passing and an odd header at the end.

Im not a big football buff but I love the sport and I love to watch whenever I can find something on TV (usually UK football), Ive seen quite a few nice goals, but I dont remember who did them - here are a couple that I like:

Diego Forlan - Off the free kick, ball bounces off his chest, never touches the ground and knocks the ball in from way back

Van Basten / Edmilson - Rainbow kick off of a lob. (Van Basten's goal is so much nicer because of the superb passing that took place to make that goal possible.)

Theirry Henry - vs. Man Untd., Receives the pass, kicks up the ball, and blindly turns around and kicks at the goal.

Ronaldo - vs. Compostela, makes everyone look like fools.

Maradona - vs. England, makes everyone look like bigger fools.

Ok, one goal that I got a clip of... The guy is running the left side line and runs all the way down ending up completely parallel to the left goal post and shoots it at the net and (some how cheats the laws of physics) the ball hits the top top corner of the right goal post and goes in - I would like an ID for this goal because this defy's all laws of physics. (The person scoring the goal is wearing blue/royal blue jersey and shorts vs. a team wearing white jersey and blue with white stripe shorts, I think its Real Madrid)
