The meetup is tougher this time because its a rave and not a club night (ppl go out later). That and some people (me and a few others) will be all dressed up/makeup/hair/outfit so going out in the general public is a little odd.
I would like to get the bunch of us(IE EVERYBODY) together to meetup, chat, chill, get pregamed etc. I want everybody to come to the meetup ARMIN OR NO, so while we are in conversation, nobody will say if hes coming or not until you commit to coming...even then we may not say so as to avoid disapointment.
You are coming (hopefully) to meet TAs, to make a tighter community, and not just to see/meet Armin *seems reasonable* (in case he cant make it like Ferry did in Toronto-he said he was coming, flight was delayed, TAs had no clue what happened, and got angry, then Fery showed up for 10 minutes and left- some ppl felt miffed until they found out the details)
feel free to read THIS THREAD from the TO forums about some 'general ideas/rules' for TA DJ meetups. ie read that thread, post Ideas in Western Canada (TO doesnt need our input)
I live across the street(15 minute walk, 5 minute drive) from the venue, ill be talking to my parents to see if we can chill @ my house before the rave.
Restaurants in the area(marda loop, Westhills/Signal Hill) are also under consideration, maybe even a private room @ the party(no DJ, and closes @ like 12 or something..just for us to chill for a while)

What he said. Jspot and I will be working hard on making the meetup a possibility, so do try and attend just for the sake of talking with the other TA's (Seems like there a lots more Calgary guys recently) |

wicked.... ya i would enjoy meeting up with armin but also with some of the ta's. I really havent met anyone except for tom and jay... anywhere for a meeting sounds great. |
