Question on an incident in Chelsea VS Leicester...

Rogers kicked Grönkjkaer after he fell down.

He didn't kick Gronkjaer after he fell down, he kicked the ball. Gronkjaer was lying down next to the corner flag with the ball right next to his chest and the linesman behind him (who couldn't see the ball where he was). Rogers kicked the ball but from where the linesman was it looked like he maliciously kicked him in the stomach. When the camera shows it from the other angle (from Rogers' side) you can clearly see all he does is connect with the ball. The ref was too far away to see anything and consulted his linesman.

He was foolish to go for the ball after he'd just brought Gronkjaer down but I think he was unlucky that the linesman didn't get the same view we did, which showed him clearly connect with the ball without even touching Gronkjaer. Gronkjaer rolled around like he'd actually been kicked, which was nonsense.

A foul was called on another leicester player for complaining on the incident. That's why the ball was moved closer.
