I have to take an alarm clock back tomorrow. i bought it yesterday but the cable wasnt long enough for it to reach my socket. so i took it into work and opened it up, cut the cable inside and crimped on another one, which is a different size, still black tho. closed it back up but i hadnt cleaned my bench properly so i put a proper off scratch on the front of it. so i took it into the spray shop and we tried to cover it with silver hammerite :stongue: :stongue:
Basically now i have to take a clock back saying "it has a scratch on it" when its got a proper gouge, attemped to paint over it, cable is a different thickness and also longer, but i didnt do it! think they'll fall for it? |

Yeah, people who work at Argos are generally spackers (no offense if any of you work in Argos:p).
You could probably put a dead rabbit in the box and say "my clock has a scatch on it" and they would still go through the replacement procudure like a robot... |

yes. they are very stupid, but i'm not complaining.
i ordered a bed from them costing £159 including mattress
they delivered me the wrong mattress, but i looked it up in the catalogue and it should have been £250 by itself. |
